Additionally, we invest in modern workspaces to improve team members' activities at work and provide the best resources to be successful in their jobs.
The Clayton Wellbeing program provides tools and resources to help all team members thrive at home and in the workplace.
Developing Clayton team members fosters innovation. We empower new ideas, nurture learning and improve team members' professional lives.
Clayton works to make a difference at scale by supporting nationwide philanthropic efforts and empowering local team members to support grassroot programs in the communities where they live and work. Through authentic national philanthropic partnerships, Clayton has the exciting opportunity to make a positive impact by focusing on our four pillars of giving: affordable housing, sustainability, education, and community enrichment.
Clayton continues to partner with Family Promise, the leading national organization addressing family homelessness, to help families achieve housing stability through an innovative homelessness prevention program, A Future Begins at Home.
Clayton and Operation HOPE, a national organization that equips underserved communities with financial tools and education, began a partnership in 2022 to help clients overcome barriers to homeownership.
Clayton’s purpose is opening doors to a better life through attainable homeownership. There is an affordable housing crisis and we have the opportunity to be a solution through our efforts in building attainable, sustainably-built homes at a low homeownership cost. We believe the benefits of homeownership are long-lasting and make lives better, and therefore we are dedicated to democratizing attainable housing for all. Through innovative building practices and efficiencies, Clayton strives to provide quality and value for all our homes.
Clayton sees an opportunity for positive impact between sustainability and attainable homeownership. By finding innovative ways to reduce waste and build more efficiently, we incur less costs during construction, allowing us to deliver attainable housing and help more people experience the benefits of homeownership. In 2023, we introduced the new Clayton eBuilt® home. These homes are built to the US Department of Energy’s Zero Energy Ready Home™ specifications and are equipped with enhanced energy-efficient features that can save homeowners up to 50% on energy bills annually¹. Through home building innovations, energy efficiency home features and philanthropic partnerships, we aim to meet the needs of our communities today while opening the door to a better future for generations to come.
