When it’s time to replace your light bulbs, please consider replacing incandescent bulbs with CFL’s or LED’s. CFL’s, the spiral bulbs, use less energy than incandescent light bulbs. LED’s are even more energy efficient and consume less power than incandescent bulbs. Since LED’s use only the fraction of the energy, there’s a dramatic decrease to your energy bill. To change a light bulb, turn off the power to the light source either using a switch or the circuit breaker. Allow the bulb to cool before touching. Remove bulb by gently unscrewing. Replace the bulb. Turn the power to the light bulb back on. Money and energy is saved in maintenance and replacement costs, due to the long LED life span.
